D.D.S.
Stephen D. Cohen, D.D.S., graduated from Temple University School
of Dentistry and completed a residency in Pediatric
Dentistry at Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh. He was awarded
a certificate in Orthodontics from the Institute for Graduate Dentists
in New York.Dr. Cohen is an Assistant Professor at the University
of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. He has a staff appointment
at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Professional memberships
include the American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association,
Philadelphia County Dental Society, American Academy of Pediatric
Dentistry, American Society of Dentistry for Children and the American
Orthodontic Society.
JOHN HORCHOS, D.M.D.
John Horchos, D.M.D. graduated from The University of Scranton with a B.S. in biology and from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine with his dental degree. Dr. Horchos completed a residency in pediatric dentistry at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia. He was awarded the privilege of being Chief Resident during his training. Dr. Horchos has been in private practice since 1994. He is a past member of the University of Pennsylvania dental school faculty and is currently an Associate Clinical Professor at Temple University. His affiliations include: the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the Pennsylvania Dental Association,
Dr. Horchos is an advocate of teaching children how to swim; he contributes to a scholarship fund at his local YMCA that provides children swim instruction. He also takes great pride in the education of children and parents towards optimum oral health. He feels that his background in teaching helps him to practice the best dentistry possible.
